Chris Lubberstedt is a winemaker with over 20 years of commercial, wine-production experience. He has made the commitment to focus professionally on the cool-climate style of wines from the Northwest. While obtaining his degree in Zoology from Portland State University, he turned his interest in wildlife into wine growing.

Each of our wines is made from a single variety with grapes from a particular vineyard. This is because we believe that grapes reflect the characteristics of the land on which they’re grown. We pride ourselves in crafting wines that express the flavors of their origin, or “sense of place,” or what the French like to call “terroir.” Pricing for STEDT Wine Club is $200 - $240 annually (varies depending on vintage).
